Heightened Endurance
Natural Weaponry ( Boxing Skills)
Heighented Defence ( fancy footwork)
Heightened Expertise ( Boxing skills)

Powers...hmmm. well here's a list of what I think would fit. I need an idea of power level to know where to go with him though...

Size change larger: minimum level which I think is like 9 feet and 1.5 times weight or something
Heightened strength and endurance of some degree make sense
he's a hardy durable statue so some defensive abilities: adaption, invulnerability or a type of willpower

I thought it would be cool for him to be mute and as a twist I thought maybe he could actually be telepathic, or at least communicate through telepathy.
I was fiddling with the concept of having some type of elemental power like earth control which I guess could be simulated by Illusions type B.

I'll think about it a bit more and send some rough stat and power drafts to you and you can help guide me on this Gerry.

..Oh yea ..also some kind of power that lets him protect innocents...like he can generate a force field to protect others but provides no defense to himself or he redirects all damage they would take to himself or something like that..

So he's mostly the strong type, but also able to control Earth?

We can probably cobble together an Earth Control power; in fact, I think there was one used by a character in the adventure "Assassin", so I'll look at that when I get home, and see if it fits or comes close to what you're thinking of.

Telepathy sounds fine; I take it being mute will be a weakness then?

A regular force field, or maybe something made of Earth (to tie into his Earth Control)

So we have a super scientist who is an expert in boxing, and a golem-like being with earth powers, and the mysterious Dr. Mysterious....

This should be an interesting group of heroes

Yeah, I think we will. Originally I was thinking about doing some stuff officially, but as I mentioned last game session, I don't see that happening now. That being the case, I see no point in making people play a version they are not used to

Since we kind of ended early last night, I didn't really bring this up.

Any progress on characters? Any idea when you guys would like me to run this? I know we still need to save the Earth in John's game, so I was just trying to get a rough idea, so I can start writing notes and such.

Also, is my idea of starting before America enters the war ok with everyone, or would you all prefer to just start off bashing Nazi's in the head?

I'm not sure the power levels are going to all mesh. Sweet Science seems more oriented to skills, with scientific skills (unless John was planning on him having some devices), while Eric's character will likely be more physically powerful, having some heightened size, strength, some invulnerability, etc (being a magical golem type).

One thing about Golden Age comic characters I noticed was that some were almost pulp heroes, others superman rip offs, and the rest fell in between as some kind of superhuman. So it won't really be easy to gauge power levels based on each other (imho)

Oni,

Looks good to me. Did you take the power you dropped back? If you dropped one to remove the weakness, but kept the weakness anyway, you should take the power back. If it was one you didn't feel fit the character, you could always replace it with something else

I did not atke anything back. I never even rolled the power. Just shorted myself the roll.

I took Illusions and rolled the rest on the skill chart.
