HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!

2013 is the 100th anniversary of the first published table-top miniatures game, which in turn spawned what we now know as role-playing games.

The game was written by H.G. Wells (yeah... THAT H.G. Wells), and is called "Little Wars". It's not a bad little game, but does rely upon proper "gentlemanly" behavior.

Take a look if you like

It's worth reading just to see how this flippn' ball got rolling in the first place.

I know, right!  It's gaming AND H. G. flippin' Wells!

I can't find one of the little guns Wells used anywhere (not even in airsoft or softair), so I'm tweaking the rules to use 1d10 instead. I just kinda wanna play some true OLD SCHOOL miniatures (maybe with plastic soldiers or Lego figures???)
