Pcionics; Inventing:  This power permits the hero to construct inventions with only 1/10 of an inventing point.    This bonus is only good with actual inventions.  No power stunts, no deductions, no learning new knowledge areas, just pure tinkering and building of machines.   


This should account for Tony Stark's new toys every time you see him.   

Of course, the other inventing rules still apply, that means time and money are still needed.   This is not gadget powers!

So based off the specifics of Machines it would not work with Spells.

An idea I never got around to using in print was a version of Absorption that drains Inventing Points (until reaching zero). In non-game terms, a character with this power saps others of their creativity and ingenuity. Those affected can regain Inventing Points normally by going up levels.

OT: I have an incubus dubbed Night Stand (as in one-night-stand) who robs others of good-old-fashioned Experience Points. He hooks up with unsuspecting police officers and military personnel (and others who are likely to have some Experience Points), then steals their Experience Points while they sleep.

Both of those are great ideas!

I might have taken this for Dick as a new power instead of Brilliant. Close though
