Had Joe recolor the Renegade Swarm Queen in red, so she stands out from the rest of the swarm. Next to her are two Thals, who are descended from Neanderthals that were abducted by a long dead alien race millenia ago. On the right is an update of the legionnaire, now with a helmet:

Here are 2 new ship images: On the left is an Antarran cruiser (Queen Bee's race), and on the right is a Mi-Go vessel:

The dude on the left, with the extra arms/claws, that's just too cool.  Has a Constrictor-esque color scheme, but mutated spider man look.  That is a sweet villain.

A collage of 3 new images I got from Brian Brinlee. They are 3 deities who make up a group that are modeled on the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

The three in this image are Aray (War), an Armenian God, Lamashtu (Pestilence), a Mesopotamian Demon/Goddess, and Bres (Famine), a Celtic God/Fomorian

I'm quoting this because I finally decided on the 4th member, and had Brian bring her to life. here is Manea, Etruscan Death Goddess, and representing Death in this group of Horsemen:

Being Horsemen, they needed mounts, so I had Brian create them as well. Made of Fire Opal and brought to life via powerful magics, here is the mount of the Horsemen:

Here's a composite of a group Joe is in the process of drawing for me. The group is called the Black Ace Gang, and is inspired by a group that once fought Captain Marvel Jr in the Golden Age. The original group had no powers and were no real threat to Cap jr. Still, the concept of the group was workable with heavy modification for the modern day. From left to right is Queen of Hearts, King of Clubs, Jack of Diamonds and Black Ace:

From Juan Paolo: A really old villain who was originally part of a group led by Black Scorpion, The Claw was a cliched villain. I've made changes to his background to make him more viable than he was back in the day

Juan Paolo just sent me another commission he finished for me. This is Kamapua'a, a Hawaiian deity. I love adapting lesser known gods into supers. I feel Celtic, Egyptian, Greek and Norse have been done to death.
This guy has a cool back story, one of adventure, love and sorrow. Perfect fodder for a super, right?
Here is a site that tells his story. This is what sold me on him being an interesting character

Great image, and I agree - it's nice to see a new deity for a change!

I enjoy finding more obscure deities to flesh out. I've got one Norse deity, but he's actually an original creation based on a character from an old series of books I read that took place post-Ragnarok.

I've used a roman goddess (who doesn't appear to have a counterpart in Greek Myth), but the rest I've been coming up with are from other cultures.

Fulgora, the goddess of lightning. Of course now when I goggle her, I find she did have a greek counterpart (Astrape), whom I've never heard of before. Which is weird, because when I goggled her name before, that never came up (not to mention when I first discovered her on Pantheon.org, there was no reference to a greek counterpart).

I've also got an Estrucan goddess, but I know she has Greek/Roman counterparts

I haven't found much on Fulgora, but here is some info on Astrape and her sister Bronte, who represents Thunder.

I like it when there is little info on these more obscure gods, as it makes them a mostly blank slate to work with when adapting them for supers

I haven't released anything in a few months, but all my stuff can be found here. I'm focusing on just Supers! at the moment, but will likely be getting back into releasing material for other systems before the end of the year.

I had a change in employment and GenCon hit me at the same time, so I've been kind of busy

Arise from the dead! For whatever reason, I have been unable to log into the forums for a long time. i would try every so often, but I couldn't even get the page to load. Then tonight at work, I was able to get in!

Since it's been around 2 years now, I guess I should post some art again First up is a couple of pieces from Juan Paolo. I've been delving into doing some Japanese characters, inspired by characters from film and tv. First up is Space Raider Zero, whose look is inspired by Space Chief (aka Iron Spirit), the hero of Invasion of the Neptune Men:

Ultra Spectre X is a villain in the vein of Ultraman. His look was inspired by Ultraman, Spectreman and another of this types of heroes (whose name I forget at the moment:

Kris Smith is slowly working on some villains for me. The concept is to do a rogues gallery in the vein of the Batman tv show of the 60's. First up is a villain known as the Skunk. He's actually a Creative Commons character someone else created. All they had was a head shot, and Kris expanded from there.

Next up is Checkers. This one is a slight update of a Public Domain comic character. The original character took his identity based on the fact he was really good at playing checkers. In this version, he uses gimmick checker pieces

Some of you likely remember The Tomorrow Squad, a team I posted images of way back. Dan Houser, who did the original pieces, did the updates for them. For their uniforms, I had him go more for a cross between the Challengers of the Unknown and the Fantastic Four. Here they are with their new look. Doc Tomorrow, Quartz, Beacon and Astral Girl

The Tomorrow Squad's HQ, the Tower of Tomorrow!

The team's Hypersonic jet (inspired by one of the Thunderbird's aircraft)

Also inspired by the Thunderbirds, this is the Rogers Ramjet, which the team uses to go into space:

I also realize most of the image links in this thread no longer work, as I ditched Photobucket when they decided to muck with people linking their images to other sites. Imgur for the win!
