From the V&V adventures, not necessarily the Elementals comic book, which of the Destroyers is most likely to reform and become a hero?

Iron Maiden was weakest willed of the group and had the least villainous of motivations if I remember correctly.

I believe based on her background... Someone as smart as Manta Man could convince her to switch sides...

Enticing her with with tech, organizations like MEDUSA and CHESS or even his own company... Manning Enterprises.

I believe any hero might be able to guide her to the side of good...

None of the others could permanently switch sides... Especially Shapeshifter, Annihilator or Electrocutioner.

I'd love to hear why if anyone picked one of the others.

Yeah, I'm going with Iron Maiden, too.  If it were based on the Elementals I'd go with Ratman (in fact, a few days ago I had him do something fairly 'Good' in my campaign after reading through my Elementals and seeing what a good guy he became), but in the module he was described as a dirty, sneaky fighter.

I had thought Ratman briefly too, because of the Elementals as well.
But his description in the D sourcebook swiped that away.

I honestly don't see a secondary.

Closest would be Behemoth for me... And that is an ungodly stretch from my personal perspective.

Ratman (based on the comics anyway) since he had a thing for Fathom, otherwise none of them.

Okay, I'll be a proud soldier in the Army of Conformity and pick Iron Maiden too.  Yeah, the weak will aspect is kind of a drawback, but I can see her being pulled into legit research/work if she was given a chance to start expounding on her theories and given the right supportive team to work with.  Plus, the chick's real hot.

A secondary would be Annihilator.  A long reach, yeah, but no one makes a convert like a zealot, and if the man was given a valid reason to switch sides and fight for the good guys, I could see him pulling it off...although he'd be the type who'd be constantly pulling for 'final solutions' with troublesome villains and attempting insurrections against legit group leaders.

Ratman...well, the description from "DDwtD" just does not carry the latent hero-without-a-cause potential that Eddie from Elementals did.  Sure, a dedicated GM could pull something out of the fire, have Ratman fall in love with a female PC/NPC and start to consider switching sides, but I'd rather stick with the concept of pretty much all the Destroyers being of such low character that any individual member who stopped pulling for them would be just as likely to retire into a life of productive obscurity rather than start attending meetings with the Justice League/Avengers.

Iron Maiden is the most likely.
The most fun? Doctor A. Take away the gem and suddenly the side of the angels looks a lot more appealing when the forces of hell are lined up against you.

Wink
