What this fine person said.....initiative/actions are prime. Throw in some nice tactics and foes with limited movement will never hit you in HTH unless they have actions saved.

For example: Hold 1st action at a good distance from target and wait until your next action. Use action to move up and attack then use held action to attack and move away. Repeat as needed.

(One downside of course is the extra power usage; 4 actions in a turn burns 6 power not including the cost of any powers and such.)

the "More actions" vote seems to assume combat is the most important aspect.
