	For space limitations, I'm sticking with the heroes who joined the teem up through Avengers #16 not counting the Hulk (who was more of a reluctant hero and didn't become part of the Avengers canon the way the others did.

	Hawkeye's mouth was awesome. And makes the perfect foil for Captain America. I voted Cap because he's such a badass, but doesn't have the attitude. He tries to do what's right, not what's easy. He has a conscience that drives him. Plus his weapon is clever and unusual.

	Bendis did the best job of any writer I know of giving Cap character people thought he was lacking. Regardless my vote will always be for Steve Rogers.

	I liked the line-up of Captain America, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and Hawkeye much more than the founding members.
