Anyone reading DC's the Forge?

From what little I know about it, its all about the metals and their link to superpowers in the DCU.

So I am calling it now,  DC has ripped off my idea about Oricalcum and my use of alchemy in super abilities, the whole basis of my V&V game for over a decade.

Rumor has it that they've got a tiny device, hidden in your bedroom, that steals your thoughts as you sleep and dream.

That's completely unrelated to the tiny device Paul has hidden there to watch you when you're naked.

It's a huge device, totally out in the open and he knows about it. Still puts on a great show from time to time.

But the tiny device would be more apropos  Cool

Sorry for not posting this sooner. Okay I finally got a chance to read over this last week. The book basically sets up events for the big DC Summer cross over event, Dark Nights: Metal. Batman seems to be the central character, but plenty of others show up (I don't want to say to much and spoil it). The central theme seems to be a number of mysterious metals that play role in the DCU are having some sort of effect on the planet, and Batman is out to find out what.

The book does a decent enough job roping you in as well reintroducing some characters who haven't been seen in a while, as well as filling in a few missing pieces of DC history. The storyline reads decently, but I feel like I'd have a better understanding of exactly what's going on if I'd been keeping up with all of the various Batman/Bat Family books the past few years. The artwork is top notch. Overall, I'd give the book 4 out of 5 stars, and will at least be checking out the first issue of Dark Nights: Metal to see if they can live up to the hype.
